This is the Privacy & Cookies Policy (the ‘PCP’) of Class Carnet Limited ("Class Carnet", “we” or “us”). This PCP describes the ways in which we collect and use information about you when you visit and/or use any of our Services via Ticket Widget (whether on the Class Organiser’s website and/or our website at www.classcarnet.com) or if you use our Class Client App or our Ticket Scanning App (together the “Services”).   1. Who this PCP applies to: By using any of our Services, you agree to be bound by this PCP in respect of the information collected about you and how it is used. We may change this PCP at any time although we shall take reasonable steps to update you such updates. We shall deem your continued use of any of our Service as your acceptance to such change(s). This PCP applies to people who use our Services and people who make complaints to us by email.
  2. People who contact or make complaints to us by email: When we receive complaints by email we shall file any relevant document and may retain details of the complainant, and other individuals identified in the complaint. We will only use this information to process the complaint and to check on our services and staff. We shall retain information in relation to a complaint for 6 years after its closure, in a secure environment and access to it will be restricted on a ‘need to know’ basis.
  3. Information we collect from people who use our Services: We may collect the following information from you when you use our Services: (a) if you access or use our Services, we may collect your name, your e-mail address, postcode and details about the device you are using to access our Services and other contact information such as postal address and telephone number; (b) your IP address, MAC address or the internet browser which you are using when you use our Services; (c) details in relation to your use and performance using our Services; (d) any details which you provide to us as part of a survey, or any feedback provided in relation to our Services; and (e) information collected by our use of cookies and similar technologies in conjunction with our Services is provided in paragraph 9 below and in the Table below at the bottom of this PCP.
  4. Stopping us from using this information: If you do not want us to collect and use the information described in paragraphs 3 above you can either not provide this information or use your browser settings and privacy settings on your devices, on the Third Parties Websites and on your social networks to prevent us collecting certain of the above information from you.   5. How we use collected information from people who use our Services: We use the information we collect our own business management purposes and also in order to provide the best service possible via our Services. We may use your information to: (a) facilitate the improvement of our Services and your experience of our Services and to develop and test our Services; (b) provide technical support in relation to user enquires, resolving disputes, collecting fees and troubleshooting; (c) to monitor numbers of visitors, traffic and demographic patterns; (d) prevent fraud or illegal activities; (e) to provide information about other products and services. From time to time we may send you information about our Services. You can tell us to stop this at any time by sending an e-mail to info@classcarnet.com; and (f) share with third parties for the purposes as described in paragraph 6 below.
  6. Financial Information: Your financial information is collected and used by payment processor to allow you to make purchases using the Ticket Widget. Class Carnet does not retain any of your card or payment details.
  7. Sharing information with third parties: We may, subject to our obligations to comply with applicable data protection legislation, share your information with third parties including: (a) Class Organiser(s) and payment provider(s) in respect of information about your purchases and your use of our services; (b) our online partners who may serve adverts within our Services (please see further details on these adverts in paragraph 8 below). We may share your anonymised IP address and MAC ID with our partners to ensure that the ads you receive are relevant to you; (c) in relation to the sale of some or all our business, or our assets, to any third party, or as part of any business restructuring or reorganisation, but we will take steps with the aim of ensuring that your privacy rights continue to be protected; (d) in anonymised form with data aggregators and service providers as part of an analysis of user metrics or sales performance; or (e) with law enforcement agencies in compliance with law enforcement.
  8. Links to third party websites and third party adverts: We cannot be responsible for the privacy policies and practices of other sites even if you access them using links from our Services, any Third Parties Website, any social networks or through adverts in our Services. We recommend that you check the policy of each site you visit and contact its owner or operator if you have any concerns or questions. In addition, if you link to our Services from a third party site or via a social network (e.g. Twitter, Facebook), We cannot be responsible for the privacy policies and practices of the owners or operators of that third party site and recommend that you check the policy of that third party site and contact its owner or operator if you have any concerns or questions.
  9. Cookies: (a) What are Cookies? Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device when you use or access our Services. Session cookies enable you to move from page to page within websites, social networking sites (such as Facebook) or apps and any information you enter will be remembered but is deleted when you close your browser or after a short time. Persistent cookies allow us to remember your preferences and settings when you use our Services in the future, in different browser sessions. (b) Disabling Cookies: The use of the cookies described above improves the functionality of our Services and your experience using them. If you do not want these cookies to be served on your device, you are able to disable them by changing the settings on your browser, or on your device. Please note that if you do decide to disable cookies you may not be able to access some of our Services, some of the features of our Services, or our Services may not function properly. This PCP is applicable only to the use of cookies by us and does not cover the use of cookies by any third parties (including advertisers or Facebook). (f) Device Identifiers: When you use a mobile device to access our Services, we may access, collect, monitor, store on your device, and/or remotely store one or more "device identifiers." Device identifiers are small data files or similar data structures stored on or associated with your mobile device, which uniquely identify your mobile device. A device identifier may be data stored in connection with the device hardware, data stored in connection with the device's operating system or other software, or data sent to the device by us. A device identifier may deliver information to us or to a third party partner about how you browse and use our Apps or the Website and may help us or others provide reports or personalized content and ads.
  10. Security: We have implemented technology and policies to safeguard your privacy from unauthorised access and improper use. We delete data we hold in relation to any visitor to our Services if that user has not accessed our Apps or the Website in the previous 6 years.
  11. Our policy towards children: Our Services are intended for anyone who is legally entitled to own a device that accesses our Services and uses them. However, we do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information in relation to children under the age of 13. If we discover we have collected personal data in relation to any children under 13 we shall take reasonable steps to delete such information.
